Nineteen authors* were asked to write on the subject of addiction, obsession and compulsion. All proceeds from the sale of the resulting publication Nineteen Raptures will go to the charity RAPt (The Rehabilitation for Addicted Prisoners Trust, registered charity No 1001701) who offer drug and alcohol treatment services to prisoners in UK jails.

Nineteen Raptures is an edition of 502 numbered copies, each containing nineteen leaflets, by nineteen different authors. Each leaflet measures 1000 x 2100 mm, portrait.
The first 52 copies of this edition are housed in a custom slipcase, with a cover design by Bella Freud. Bound by Tangerine Press.
Numbers 1 - 10 are presentation copies signed by the contributing authors
Numbers 11 - 29 are numbered presentation copies.
Numbers 30 - 52 are gift editions presented to each of the authors, cover artist, designer, and publisher’s executive, and are not for sale.
The remainder of the edition will be sealed in numbered presentation envelopes, also printed with the Bella Freud design.
